Mrs. Claude Proulx, a nurse at Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital, received a recognition award from r Transplant Québec for her involvement in the field of organ donation.

Claude Proulx lauréate du Grand Prix de Transplant Québec 2016. Dédiée à l’accompagnement des familles de donneurs et à la cause du don d’organes depuis 15 ans.

« Montreal, December 5, 2016 – Transplant Québec and the CIUSSS of East Island of Montreal are pleased and proud to announce that Mrs. Claude Proulx, nurse resource for organ and tissue donation at Hôpital Maisonneuve -Rosemont, was awarded the 2016 Transplant Québec Grand Prize. This tribute highlights her hard work over the past 15 years in advancing the cause of organ donation in Quebec on a daily basis. The presentation of the award was made in the presence of Mrs. Lucie Tremblay, President of the Quebec Order of Nurses, collaborators of the institution and donor families. »
