The Assemblée nationale now has three Proulx!

October 8th, 2018 0 By Jean-Pierre Proulx

Quebeckers elected three Proulx last Monday. Never seen before in the political history of Quebec!

Caroline Proulx

Ms. Caroline Proulx (Berthier).

A Montrealer by adoption, Caroline Proulx is originally from Saint-Jean-de-Matha, where she spent all her youth. Her family ties are still very much rooted in the great Berthier region.

She is an experienced public affairs facilitator. Her talent as a host (LCN Ce soir, Tête de Proulx, La Fosse aux lionnes) and commentator (Denis Lévesque, Bouchard en parle, Dumont) has also been featured in several media over the years.

She is a proud descendant of Jean Prou and Jacquette Fournier de Montmagny.

Marie-Eve Proulx

Ms. Marie-Ève Proulx (Côte-du-Sud).

Originally from Saint-Pierre-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud, Marie-Eve Proulx has over 20 years of experience as a manager in the regional development, education and health sectors. She has contributed to many local, regional and national projects. Passionate about Côte-du-Sud, she wants to make the voice of the citizens of all generations who live there and make it live.

Between 2005 and 2013, she was a councillor and then mayor of her native village where she was involved in promoting economic development, tourism and rurality within the MRC. A mother of three children, she has always been able to combine work, family and place citizens at the centre of her priorities.

She is a proud descendant of Jean Prou and Jacquette Fournier de Montmagny.
